Ransomed Productions
Ransomed Productions has been serving recording artists since 1988. Owner, engineer and producer Tom Ransom has over 35 years in the recording business. Tom holds a degree in Professional Music with an emphasis in audio production from the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston as well as a degree in Music Education from the Conservatory of Music at the University of Missouri Kansas City.
For over 12 years, Tom used his extensive education to teach Music Technology in the Kansas City magnet schools.
He currently teaches audio production at Johnson County Community College in Overland Park, Ks.
Tom has been honored to serve as a sound and recording clinician, lecturer, and member of the judges panel at the annual St Joseph Mo Guitar Festival, held at Missouri Western State University.
Tom has five of his own CD's under his belt which he composed, arranged, recorded, mixed and mastered the entire work.
